Principal's Message
Dear Los Arboles Community,
As we embark on another exciting school year, I am filled with enthusiasm and optimism for the opportunities for our school to flourish! I am honored and privileged to serve as the principal of Los Arboles for the past 2 years, a vibrant learning community dedicated to academic excellence, personal growth, and mutual respect.
At Los Arboles Literacy and Technology, we are an inclusive community of team members dedicated to holding students to high expectations and creating equitable solutions to meet the diverse needs of all students academically, socially, and emotionally by creating a safe and positive school culture that celebrates and recognizes diversity while empowering students' personal growth as whole children.
As we work together to create a positive and inclusive learning environment, I encourage all members of our school community to embrace our core values of respect, integrity, and perseverance. By treating each other with kindness and empathy, we can build strong relationships and foster a sense of belonging where everyone feels valued and supported. I encourage you to get involved in your child’s educational experience through various opportunities such as joining our Parent Teacher Organization, School Site Council meetings, English Language Advisory Committee meetings, Cafecitos, joining us for parent workshops, and attending our monthly family nights. This handbook will provide information on our school policies and procedures.
I want to warmly welcome our new students and families and express my gratitude to returning members of our school community. Your dedication and commitment to Los Arboles are truly appreciated, and I look forward to partnering with you to ensure the success of our students.
As we embark on this journey together, I am confident that we will achieve great things and positively impact the lives of our students and the world around us. Thank you for your continued support, and here's to a fantastic school year ahead!
Warm regards,
Ms. Espitia
